Linda Andrews, an internationally renowned deaf painter, is hanging one of her works in a Hawaiian Islands bank when two men burst in and demand money at gunpoint. The robbers shoot everyone upon leaving, but miss Andrews in a back room. Carol lures Magnum into a meeting with her on a pretext and asks him to protect Andrews, the sole witness and survivor of the shooting. Magnum protests, but relents when he meets Andrews while she is identifying the shooter from a police lineup. Magnum takes her to Robin's Nest, where Higgins is delighted to meet the famous artist. The situation turns more serious when one of the robbers, Jack Wilkins, makes bail. With Wilkins' attorneys suspecting there may be a witness, Carol asks Magnum to keep an eye on Wilkins. While Magnum investigates the whereabouts of Wilkins, Andrews and Higgins spend time together painting. But when Andrews glimpses a television newscast featuring a photo of her as the mysterious witness, she decides to leave the estate. In... Written by
