Dorsey, the starting Quarterback, signs autographs left-handed. However, prior to Magnum replacing an injured Dorsey at QB at practice -we clearly see Dorsey throwing with his right arm. Moreover, Dorsey's sore throwing shoulder, for which he receives a cortisone shot, is his right shoulder. Left handed Quarterbacks would have sore left shoulders from throwing passes. See more »

While I would hesitate to classify this as a great episode, it's memorable to me, mainly because of the football aspect, although the title "One More Summer" is a bit odd, but I digress. The crux of the matter has an unlikeable professional quarterback, played by David Wilson, needing Magnum's help to see who's trying to kill him; they were buds in the Navy together years before. Some familiar faces include Pat Morita, NFL great Dick Butkus, and Louise Sorel. Also, look for a very wooden performance by Kimber Hinkson, who plays April Ann Metro; it's no wonder this is her only acting credit. The best scenes revolve around the football field, especially when Magnum AND T.C. both tryout for the same team, while both of them are keeping a watchful eye on the case at hand. Higgins and Rick also make things interesting. Speaking of interesting, there's a cool twist at the end just when you think the real killer is dead, but I won't spoil the rest. If you're a fan of football, give the episode a shot, and if you don't find it too corny, then you're in for a treat.
