Revenge Italiano
20 April 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

For all of the stereotypical mob actors herein (they're just so uniquely apish) and fourth-wall-breaking, 'Italian Ice' is kinda sad. Magnum rescues a young girl from some bad Sicilians only to have to fend off her confused advances. She takes her puppy love way too far, even pulling a gun on his girlfriend (Mimi Rogers). She's young, pretty and has a sort of purity about her, so her rejection at the end of this sordid affair is tragic.

T.C. does have some funny lines (not to mention some of his own looks to the audience) and it's kinda cool to see Magnum go all silent commando in the opening moments. And I did like Mimi Rogers, so it's a shame she's only a one-off.

6/10
