The car Magnum drives is a Bugatti Type 37 Grand Prix racer replica from the late 20's.
During the scene when Magnum and Brenda get into the car, the audio is very strange. This is because there was a great deal of wind and other background noise. Rather than overdubbing their voices later, a noise gate was used. This is an electronic effect that can be set so that it will only allow sounds above a certain volume to pass, such as the spoken voice. When the gate is open, it allows all the sounds through, including wind and passing cars. This is why, in a few instances, that the actors sound like they are growling when they talk. It is the sound of wind and engine noise mixed in with their voices.
The upward angled shot of the mound that Magnum stands on, which in this case doubled as the edge of a cliff, is the same location and angle as was used in an earlier story in which he was stranded on a tiny island with a Russian spy.
This episode was directed by Ivan Dixon of "Hogan's Heroes" fame.
