Before doing his impersonation of Al Jolson for Col. Potter, Radar says that he saw Jolson "entertainin' the troops
down in Seoul." This is a reference to Jolson's whirlwind visit to Korea from September 17 through October 3, 1950, during which he played an incredible 42 shows for the troops. Possibly from the strain of the tour and the travel, Jolson died of a massive heart attack just three weeks after the tour ended.
