Quotes

Father Mulcahy: Winchester, you are a dirty stinker!
Charles: Put that ba... What?
B.J.: Don't listen to him, Charles. Nobody takes the word of a priest.
Father Mulcahy: I've been doing a little investigating and I've discovered that this belongs to you!
[gives collection ledger back to Charles]
Charles: Ah, the charity ledger. Well, it did belong to me, Father, but it's long since passed from my hands.

Another Heavy Episode
6 May 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The series got a bit darker as it closed out. In this one a man in the hospital takes delight in the fact that he shot a North Korean (who lies next to him). A sort of connection seems to happen as time goes by and that man becomes human to the young soldier. It's another reminder of what war does to us. The other more obvious plot is Charles forgetting that he is on charity collection duty and Potter laying into him. Through a series of events, the collection book is passed around to various MASH members. Each is promised something in return. Charles has the obvious answer to all of this; sometimes it is more blessed to give for everyone than to receive from anyone.
