A thrilling TV show

One more TV show I discovered last week. I don't know if it was aired in France, but it is very sharp and exciting. Lee Marvin is of course at his peak here, even not yet in the highlight for the big movies. Each episode is very fast paced and very well characterized. In this episode, as the plot line said, our lead - Lee Marvin - has a ringer of his dying in a hospital, a sort of man already known to be close to the mob. So, the best way for the detective to get what it is all about is to impersonate the dead duck, as an undercover job. Nothing is simpler, as a ringer, how the hell could he miss it? Nothing really exceptional here, if you compare to the others. Just a very effective, perfect piece of work.
