Arthur Leslie, owner of Leslie Furs, proclaims his love to his saleswoman, Helene Victor in a backroom of the store. When she responds favorably, he has a gourmet meal delivered from the French restaurant across the street. As the waiter enters through the back door, two vicious, masked thugs follow him inside. When the waiter accidently sees the face of one of the hoodlums, he is shot. Arthur and Helene are knocked-out and the crooks proceed to remove the entire stock of furs. As Lt. Ballinger investigates, he learns that Leslie has just increased his insurance policy.
