Who's Makin' The Dough?
Somebody is passing counterfeit $20 bills and the work looks like that of an old ex-pro who died three years ago in jail. Somebody is using the plates the master counterfeiter stashed behind (and never told where he hid them) before serving his last years in jail. Frank needs to find who's doing the counterfeiting and also find out where those plates are hidden.
Theodore Newton as "Tom Booth" the old-time counterfeiter, was an interesting guy and very real looking ex-con with realistic dialog. He is a decent guy but is a strong believer in not snitching.
Lynette Berney was an attractive blonde who didn't do a lot of acting, although not a little either, but went into the costume business in films and TV shows from the early '70s to the point in which she died in 2008.
At the end, "Det.Frank Ballinger" has a funny line about the crook behind bars still doing plates - license plates!! I always enjoy Lee Marvin's little sermons at the end of each episode.
