Lucy is given a job baby-sitting after she has a falling out with Mr. Mooney.Alvia Allman is the receptionist at the employment agency.Mary Wickes is the 'mother' to the three chimpanzees. Can this be the only appearance of these two recognizeable ladies, even tho they don't appear in a scene together? As far as the episode goes, I remember it as a child, being absolutely fascinated by that tree in the room (bedroom? Living room? It was just off of the front door, but the bunkbeads were in it, so I'm not sure what room this was supposed to be).Lucy's ability to keep up with the monkeys, realizing that it would be futile to try to outshine them, is remarkable to observe. She knew the chimps were the stars, or they weren't impressed by working with her, so why fight it? This then, as often happens with a star's humility, makes her shine even greater. The chimps themselves? Amazing how childlike they are. Try not to laugh at one on skates being shoved by the other one.I could have sworn there was a scene where either Lucy or Mary Wickes picked up the pagama top (we even see it on the bed) and holds it up so we can see the exceptionally long arms, but it wasn't on this DVD collection.Perhaps I am thinking of another program.
