Floated nicely
21 November 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Pardon the pun right above you, but this was a very good episode that flowed nicely, and was more funny than cheesy, and had many familiar faces. I'll give very brief comments on all 3 segments, without trying to bore you, dear reader, but 2 of them were solid, and 1 was more comedic relief. Here goes: the first story starred Will Geer as a cranky, but funny geezer looking to deal with the recent death of his wife, and he was very surprised to find a runaway/stowaway in his cabin, played by someone named Bayn Johnson, who's acting career ended about a month later. I thought they had good chemistry together and were very patient with each other, as this segment was probably the highlight of this episode. The other episode I enjoyed starred both Tom Poston, who's on the trail for any piece of tail he can get, and Anson Williams, who just happened to be old friends of Julie's; quite the coincidence, eh? He actually spurns her many advances for a specific reason, and the scene where she finds out was a very moving one at that; regarding Julie, I think she and the other crew members should act a little more professional and not try getting involved romantically with passengers. The other story, although it was more of a scene or 2, stars Arte Johnson and Pat Morita as painters in charge of painting the captain's cabin, and they kept making mistakes. This was the weakest of all the stories, and even though it wasn't that bad, it just wasn't up to par with the others and seemed slightly out of place.
