Storyline

San Francisco fashion designer Hannah Harvey (Mary Martin) has been widowed for twenty years and nicknamed "Helpful Hannah", due to her penchant for persuading those around her to follow their bliss by expressing their creativity. She is reunited with twelve-years-widowed longtime friend Jarvis Holden (Max Showalter), whose son Kent (Timothy Patrick Murphy) loves to play the piano and is studying to take the real estate exam. Her efforts, to help Kent use his musical talent, clash with Jarvis' paternal intentions. Interior design student Dee Dee Draper (Judy Landers) is working as a maid for Gregory King (Ben Murphy), whose sometime-girlfriend Meredith Bradshaw (Caren Kaye) is in love with someone else and fails to show up at boarding time. So Dee Dee, who is romantically attracted to Greg, takes Meredith's place on the cruise to spend time with him. But then Meredith arrives. Gopher (Fred Grandy) takes a course in CPR and persuades Merrill (Gavin MacLeod) to offer the course on board... Written by Maisie Fleckum

Gopher's CPR
23 March 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"So Help Me Hannah/The Maid Cleans Up/C.P.R., I.O.U." is the 20th episode in this sixth year of The Love Boat. The actors and actresses appearing on this episode are Milton Berle, Caren Kaye, Steven Keats, Judy Landers, Mary Martin, Ben Murphy, Timothy Patrick Murphy and Max Showalter.

At the Pacific Princess, the crew and the passengers gets interesting once again.A woman tries to give an advice but it irritates the Captain as well as the young man who wants to follow his own path.Meanwhile,a maid goes on a cruise to win the heart of her employer. Finally,Gopher's knowledge of CPR becomes useful to save a passenger from a heart attack.

Gopher's use of CPR was definitely the best story of this episode especially when he saves someone from a heart attack. It just shows how useful it could be in case of emergency.A viewer will definitely appreciate it from this episode if he/she knows how to do it.
