Throughout the episode, the door to Captain Tobin's cabin alternates from having a lockset and deadbolt on the left side of the door to having a lockset only on the right side. And this was apparently the only passenger cabin on the ship ever to have a deadbolt. See more »

3 April 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Youth Takes a Holiday / Don't Leave Home Without It / Prisoner of Love" is the third episode of the seventh season of The Love Boat. The actors and actresses appearing on this episode are Gloria DeHaven, Jamie Farr, Beth Howland, Heather Locklear, Louis Nye, Charlotte Rae, Glenn Scarpelli and Cornel Wilde.

The Pacific Princess is on another cruise once again. We meet interesting passengers as always as we get to see a couple who is traveling with their recently divorced friend, who brings a young girlfriend with him.Meanwhile,a retired cop learns that a young man who happens to be a friend of Vicki apparently is a thief. The cop intends to turn the thief in despite emotional feelings bring about the memories of his deceased son. Finally,a female captain of the Army is looking for a male companionship and gets attracted to Gopher, whom apparently isn't feeling attracted to.This leads her to locking him in her room.

It was nice to see a young Heather Locklear on this episode. She was already very pretty back then.
