Warning: Spoilers
The Hudson Brothers are here! (Uh, who are the Hudson brothers?) These guys all sleep in a single bed. They're with Nicolas Hammond, television's Spider-man. Hammond is hot for Haley Mills. Hayley is kind of trying an American accent, but I'm not buying it. (Remember when Gopher was having fantasies about her?) Wait until Haley finds out that he's a waiter! Johnny Yune is here. (I love him from They Call Me Bruce.) He's here to impress writer Kendall Park, who turns out to be a woman. Kendall is kind of uptight and doesn't like his comedy. 'Don't call me your honey!' she says. Okay, honey. Ethel Merman is back as Gopher's mom (Gopher's dad died off camera, it seems.) Mom comes on board singing and dancing with Gene Rayburn. Gopher expected her to be in mourning. Gopher tries to foist mom on Vicki. Pathos-seeking Gopher is my least favorite Gopher. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 2 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
