10 July 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"The Eyes of Love / Masquerade / Hollywood Royalty / The Caper – Part 2" is the second part or the sixteenth episode of The Love Boat.Guest stars of this two-part episode includes Michele Lee,Fernando Lamas Harold Gould, Juliet Mills, John Schuck, Karen Valentine, Larry Storch, Stephanie Zimbalist, Desi Arnaz Jr., Adrienne Barbeau and Dan Rowan.

In the concluding part,Captain Stubing uncovers the attempt of the thieves to steal jewelries from the Roz Rogers and Bill Klieg, the famous Hollywood couple who are passengers of the cruise.Special attention was given to the diamond known as the Star Of Kashmir. This led to the thieves to become more determined in capturing it.As for Bill and Roz,both discover that they should find balance in both their professional and personal lives.Childhood friends Jenny and Steve who met suddenly realized that they have fallen in love but they also learn about the obstacles they have to face considering one of them is blind. Finally, the wife and mistress of a philandering husband become friends and unknowingly discover their true feelings about the man they think that they love.

This is one of the better episodes of the show.Despite being known for being a light-hearted and escapist TV show, this particular two- part episode was sensible enough that it provides great lessons about life particularly about finding balance in one's personal and professional life; and about the realities of romance.
