Gopher's Dream
4 July 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Forties Fantasy" is the fifth episode of the ninth season of The Love Boat. The actors and actresses appearing as guests on this episode are Nathan Cook,Erin Moran,Leigh McCloskey,Stephanie Mills and Michael Pniewski.

The Pacific Princess is in the middle of its cruise when Gopher was fast asleep and had an interesting dream. In his dream,it was the 1940's and the ship is a troop carrier during the Second World War.The Captain does not trust the Brazilian movie star as he thinks that he is a spy for the Germans.Meanwhile,a song-and-dance man with asthma was to trade places with Isaac, who happens to he a war hero.

Well,it was an interesting story for a change.Instead of having the usual storyline occurring among different passengers going into the cruise,we have a dream episode during the 1940's. I commend the writers for it.
