A Welcome Change For Doc
1 September 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The Captain's Cup/The Folks from Home/Legal Eagle is the eleventh episode of the second season of The Love Boat.Stars appearing in it are Bert Convy, Pat Harrington Jr., Florence Henderson, John McIntire, Jeanette Nolan, Leigh Taylor-Young, Cisse Cameron, George Petrie and Chris Capen.

During the cruise,Doc needs to perform a risky operation after an accident occurred as it involves an older couple from his hometown.Meanwhile,a woman who is in charge of the presentation of the Captain's Cup asked an engineer to pose as an executive who wasn't able to show up in the cruise so as not to disappoint Captain Stubing. Finally,a divorced man gets hooked up with the divorce lawyer of his ex-wife.

The episode gets to feature Doc do something related to his profession rather than romancing any of the pretty passengers during the cruise which becomes a welcome change for the viewers.
