Debbie Reynolds Appears On Love Boat
8 March 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Paroled to Love/First Impressions/Love Finds Florence Nightingale" is the 12th episode in this sixth year of The Love Boat.Carole Cook, Richard Kline, Vicki Lawrence, Marilyn Michaels, Debbie Reynolds and Forrest Tucker appear as guest stars in it.

The cruise of the Pacific Princess are scheduled to have celebrities in it.But the PR employees booked them on a different cruise and the ship ended up having people who are impersonating celebrities. Meanwhile,a celebrity trying to do a research on her role as Florence Nightingale is working as Doc's nurse and meets a male passenger whom she is interested it.Unfortunately, this guy hates people from show business. Finally,a man who got acquitted that was accused of a crime is on board with his lawyer who defended him. They started to make admissions about feelings for one another and guilt.

While the stories maybe predictable, ordinary and far from being timeless as it would not hold up to today after it was shown 35 years ago,it was nice to witness Debbie Reynolds as part of the guest stars in it.She just passed a way four months ago after the day her daughter Carrie Fisher died of a heart attack. She definitely brought great memories back then despite having an ordinary role as a PR employee.
