The China Cruise Ends
30 March 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"The Pledge/East Meets West/Dear Roberta/My Two Dumplings – Part 2" is the second part of the first episode of the seventh season of The Love Boat. The actors and actresses appearing on this episode are Ursula Andress,Susan Anton,Michael Constantine,Linda Evans,John Forsythe,Lee Horsley,Pat Klous,Lee Majors and Erin Moran.

As the cruise to China of the Pacific Princess continues,we get to see a sick female passenger with lots of uncertainty in the future starts an interesting relationship with a man with a past.Meanwhile,Doc starts to get attracted and fall for a woman residing in Hong Kong.Added to that,a male passenger with two girlfriends that are on board on the same cruise gets more interesting in keeping it a secret. Finally,a woman who just had a divorce fell in love with a male journalist who writes advice columns that she followed that led to her divorce and end of marriage.

This China cruise ends with a lot of funny endings to this multiple plots that aren't new to the show's fans. But nevertheless,it was nice to witness these stars - John Forsythe,Ursula Andress,Lee Horsley,Pat Klous, ,Linda Evans and Lee Majors - on the same episode for these were popular stars back then. Added to that,it was also nice to see Pat Klous in a non-Love Boat crew role for she will become an regular member of the Love Boat cast sometime after this episode.
