Kids!

I think the real Almanzo Wilder would roll over in his grave if he saw the Royal Wilder that was depicted in this episode. The man clearly has no back bone and isn't being the head of his household if he is allowing this woman and her prissy self to tell him how to raise their twin boys! The scenes with Milly in them make me absolute sick to my stomach! I hope Royal bent both boys over his knee at the end of this episode.

Almanzo and Laura were pretty stupid as well, though. They fell for Royal's under-handed ploy to get them to keep the boys, then they fell for the "he has to eat" incident? Really?

The screaming and shaking was just a hint of what I would have done to those two boys! I suspect, though, that Almanzo finally gave them the spanking they needed after the rat trap...

Can I mention the "let's have kids convo?" Was there really a lot of options back then? I don't picture Laura and Almanzo abstaining, so exactly what were they going to do to keep from getting...Well, okay I won't go there. I've just always wondered about that part!
