Storyline

While the Ingalls, Charles especially, have gotten attached to James and Cassandra, they are already crowded with Grace, Carrie and Albert living at home. So, Charles continues to look for a family that will take them on, with the help of Reverand Alden. They find a couple who want a boy to help on the farm, but agree to take both kids. They don't know that he is going to be abusive, so eventually James runs away. Charles ends up taking them back to his house. Written by Anonymous

Happy endings
25 October 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Charles takes the two orphaned children back to Walnut Grove. They stay in the Ingalls home - four kids in one attic - and to think it was small when two little girls moved in there in Season One! But they didn't complain because they cared about each other. As the weeks passed, they grew to love each other like a family. Then Bad news...er...good news came - someone wanted to adopt the children.

As expected though, the family wasn't a big, happy family.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Mary in this episode. I'd forgotten she made an appearance. But the thing that really bugged me was Laura still having a flat stomach. I mean, even if this episode happened right AFTER the last episode, she was three months pregnant when Dr. Baker announced it, I believe. As the weeks passed, she should have been showing some sign of pregnancy.

And that annoyance only gets work next season when Laura actually goes on a trip ALL SUMMER and doesn't show a sign of being pregnant. Did the writer's forget she was pregnant or something?

Well, good-bye to another great season!
