Charles has the opportunity to earn $50 by helping run new telephone lines for 30 days. While he's away, Laura and Albert's time is used up with doing extra chores. Caroline is also busy and doesn't have time to deal with Carrie, so she is sent off on her own with some trivial job to do. She goes to pick some strawberries, but when she sees how little they are, she figures it will take her all day to pick enough for a pie. She falls asleep and dreams that a beautiful girl who looks just like her, named Elissa, takes her to a world where there are strawberries as big as she is along with other fruits. But, then she is awakened because she dreams there is a huge angry bug chasing her on that fruit. She goes home. The next day, she is sent to go fishing and Elissa takes her to Heaven to see their old dog Jack. This is the only time where Sidney Greenbush and Rachel Lindsay Greenbush both appear on screen at the same time, as different characters. Normally the identical twins shared the role of Carrie Ingalls, but here, they also shared the role of Elissa. See more »

Sorry, but this is the worst episode EVER
3 August 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I cannot stand this episode! It really slaps the quality of this show in the face and just proves my point that I've made in a previous review that Carrie is never treated like a girl her age should be! Carrie cannot be much younger than Laura when the show began, yet Carri's character is just as babyish and just as annoying as ever. I shake my finger at the writers for allowing this to happen! She held such promise...

With that said, I just cannot watch this episode in order to write the review and add some quote. Can't do it...I've forced myself to watch this episode a couple times before, and really I cannot remember anything about it except that nobody will play with Carri so she lays down in a field and takes a nap. She has some sort of elaborate dream where her real-life twin gets to play with her. I'm not sure if the girls expressed an interest in wanting a twin show or what, but regardless...I just cannot stomach this episode.
