Sam Tyler: Now the victim wasn't gagged. Why didn't he gag her, Annie?

Back to the 70's
13 July 2017 | by See all my reviews

Managing to both doth the cap to 70's cop shows of old while also being modern enough to bring in today's audiences this first episode of 'Life on Mars' has an awful lot to do, and manages to do it all effortlessly.

We really feel for Sam Tyler and his plight, while also completely loving Gene Hunt, despite the fact he's a homophobic lout, and a lot of this is down to the portrayals given by the actors.

A good show and a great start.
