The Glider
29 November 2014 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

James "Grizzly" Adams(Dan Haggerty) is called upon by Mad Jack(Denver Pyle) to come to the aid of a crazy inventor who introduces himself as Mr. Wright(played by Russ Tamblyn) who has a dream of flight, in this case a glider with collapsible wings that he is trying without success to get to fly. After his latest crash in the mountains, Wright gets the idea of studying a Golden Eagle to see how it flies, but Adams suggests a hawk instead, as they are more easily called and tame. Despite his study, he crashes yet again, but is determined to get it right, or perhaps teach his sons Orville & Wilbur to carry it on... Fun episode once again cleverly inserts a future historical figure in the series.
