Trapper Tom
28 November 2014 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

James "Grizzly" Adams(Dan Haggerty) becomes involved with the search of an irresponsible man named Trapper Tom(played by Paul Brinegar) whose indiscriminately placed traps inadvertently catch Mad Jack(Denver Pyle) who also enlists Nakoma(Don Shanks) to find and destroy these traps, which have injured a mountain lion, leaving its cub vulnerable. Tom merely wants to capture these wild animals for the zoo, but after finding him, the trio try to convince him how wrong he is in his thinking, and offer him a much better alternative... Important message about callous and inhumane trapping is well put across, with the change of heart from the trapper being a nice bit of redemption.
