Easter
29 November 2014 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

James "Grizzly" Adams(Dan Haggerty) is preparing for the annual Easter celebration in the valley. Nearby, he encounters father & son settlers who run into trouble when their wagon is struck by lightning, though Adams is able to help save their animals and things. The father(played by Patrick Wayne) is grateful, and offers to help Adams with Easter after accepting his invitation, where friend Robbie Cartman(John Bishop) is gathering honey combs to make honey cakes. Meanwhile, an aging tribal chief named Silver Fox(played by Ned Romero), an old friend of Mad Jack(Denver Pyle) seeks Adams' help in finding an ailing sacred bird, and Nakoma(Don Shanks) helps too. Fine holiday-themed episode that presents both Native and Christian faiths with equal respect and tolerance.
