Storyline

Drunk Odie Cairns tries to ask a lone Selma Grant sitting on a wagon to go inside for a drink but she refuses. When her husband appears, their way of talking causes Odie to realize they might be True Lighters which a newspaper they have proves it to be true. Odie's sudden hatred causes her husband Hiram to nearly choke Odie. He is stopped and Earp is called to settle the issue. Odie wants them run out of town but Earp tells them they are welcome but Earp decides to check on the Grants. Later, Odie learns that Mr. Bates has sold his farm to the Grants causing Odie to decide to burn them out. Bates informs Earp about Odie's plans so Earp rides to the Grant's place. On the way he sees Hiram planting dynamite to stop Odie's group. After Earp pulls the dynamite, he races to the house to stop Odie. Odie informs everyone he hates the True Lighters due to them and a few Arapaho Indians massacring a wagon train at Jericho Canyon which included his wagon and family. After Odie and his men leave...
