Could have also had the title of "To Go or Not to Go, That is the Question."
An engineer has the opportunity for advancement if he will relocate to Japan for up to a year and a half. The problem is that his wife, Loretta Young, will not go. She remembers her childhood quite well and she was always moving around a lot. She doesn't want this kind of life for their son.
They argue over this and have their young son decide. The boy says no and the matter seemed to be resolved but the husband has that wandering lust.
A story of coming to grips with reality and opportunity. Go for it should have been the motto as the wife eventually acquiesces.
