The house that has its windows broken by Richard and Gilbert is The Munsters (1964) house. Richard lies to the police, giving Beaver's name and address as his own. When the police visit the Cleavers to discuss the incident, one officer reads from his pad, giving the McMahan house's address as 456 Grant Ave.
A comment in this episode sheds some light on the mystery of the location of Mayfield, or rather where it isn't. When Gilbert asks Richard why there are no McMahans living in the old McMahan house, Richard explains, "Some of them croaked and the rest of them went to California." Apparently, Mayfield isn't in California.
Wally asks Ward and June if he can go on a cross-country bus tour of America in the summer. Ward says he would need to know more about the trip, and the subject is dropped. Beaver went on just such a trip in the sixth season episode Beaver Sees America (1963).
The same house appears in the background of Uncle Billy (1960) when Wally and Beaver are outside, admiring their uncle's flashy convertible.
In addition to being the principal residence for the Munster family in the TV sitcom The Munsters (1964) as well as for the Smith family in the musical-comedy movie Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) and for Norman Bates in the horror film Psycho (1960), the McMahan house was also the Cooper house in season 2 of The Haunted House (1959).
