It is a lazy day in Laramie with a bored Johnny bothering Marshal Troop with his antics. Johnny decides to go for a cup of coffee at the Birdcage with Troop to follow. Troop opens a poster on the outlaw Jake Wilson wanted for several murders as Wilson rides into Laramie and enters the Birdcage. At the Birdcage Len Easton stops for a drink while getting supplies and recognizes Wilson. He quietly tells Lily who says to finish his drink and find Troop. Wilson notices the conversation and is suspicious. Wilson questions Easton so Johnny intervenes. Wilson intends to shoot Eaton as he leaves. Johnny draws and wounds Wilson who shoots Johnny and kills Eaton when he tries to draw his gun. The shots bring Troop who finds Wilson with hostages and Johnny shot. Wilson orders Troop to clear the street and intends to kill Troop but Johnny recovers enough to distract Wilson with a shot allowing Troop to kill Wilson. Written by Anonymous
