Storyline

Cattlemen are trying to push homesteaders off their property by cutting fences and running cattle through the homesteader's crops. When the tactics fail, they hire Tod Horgan. Horgan is an ex-lawman and trained Dan Troop. Troop is glad to see Horgan but when he learns why Horgan is there he warns him about following the law. Horgan looks for proof of the homesteaders breaking the law but when he finds none, the cattlemen manufacture proof by hiding dead steers on the homesteads. When one of the homesteaders confronts Horgan, Horgan is forced to kill him. Troop is called and tells Horgan he has proof the homesteaders are innocent leading to a show down between them when Horgan refuses to be arrested. Written by Anonymous
