Storyline

Two men run down Lily in the street followed by a report two men killed Will Porter who Lily hired due to his ease with others. Troop finds the killers were the Lord brothers from Darkness, 150 miles away. He goes to pick them up but finds Darkness and the local marshall unwilling to help. At the Lord ranch their father is willing to bring the boys in if Troop agrees they will not be charged while refusing to tell their sister about the issue. Dan returns to Darkness and the boys arrive after being summoned by their father. Dan kills one and wounds the other. Returning to Laramie he is stopped by their father and ranch hands. Daughter Caroline joins them against her father's wishes saying that if there is more killing the whole family should be involved. She berates her father for his upbringing of her brothers and the shame it has brought on her and her dead mother. The father relents. Written by Anonymous
