Lady Belle Smythe leads a gang of successful bank robbers plaguing the Wyoming Territory. She comes to town pretending to be a recent widow to case the bank and area then leaving before the robberies. She arrives in Laramie and catches the attention of bank President Oren Slauson a widower. When Oren takes her to the Birdcage and introduces her to Lily, she insults Lily's new dress and job. Lily proceeds to take her anger out on Dan. When Lily goes to apologize to Dan, she notices Lady Belle talking to a stranger. The next day the stage is late due to a broken wheel and the hotel clerk has his musket out after duck hunting. When the robbery happens, Troop is wounded after killing one bandit but the stage coach driver and hotel clerk are able to take out the others in a ragtag operation. Lily recognizes one of the dead bandits as the man Lady Belle was conversing with and takes it upon herself to arrest Lady Belle. Written by Anonymous
