A man named Logan is leading a group of men who have created a "vigilante" group to supposedly fight crime but in reality are an extortion group. They have targeted Blake Stevens who is the leading businessmen in Laramie. He refuses to give in to their demands but will not testify against Logan. After Blake's store is bombed, Troop arrests Logan's gun hand Ed James for attempted murder. Logan demands James' release or the city council fire Troop. Troop refuses to resign, so Logan marches with a group on the Marshal's office to free James. After Johnny chews Blake out about his actions, Blake confronts the vigilante group. He tells them his story of being abandoned by Logan in Kansas. Blake escaped from prison where he and others were sent for second degree murder for a lynching. Logan makes a move but Troop and Johnny shoot him and his remaining henchman. Written by Anonymous
