Storyline

Troop receives a wire from Clay in Arizona that he will be there in six days to help Troop fight the Hayes gang of seven. Troop had sent them to prison. Clay arrives while Troop is out and after a rest he and Johnny are confronted by two members of the gang in the street. Clay shoots both men but is wounded. When Troop arrives, they mention Clay's dead wife Virginia who was courted by Troop as well but strained the relationship between Clay and Troop. When Troop asks the town for help, no one but Johnny is willing. Troop and Johnny wait during the night on the street for the rest of the Hayes gang. When they arrive a shootout ensues with Troop being wounded and the wounded Clay appearing unexpectedly with a shotgun to help but he is killed as Troop and Johnny kill the rest of the gang. With the fight over Johnny finally asks Troop who Clay is. Troop's response is "My brother." Written by Anonymous
