Walt Hudson wants to turn himself in for the reward thinking when he gets out he would at least have a stake. The company making the offer wants something else but Walt wants no part of their plan.

Storyline

Gard Washington/Walt Hudson is waiting for Marshal Troop to turn himself in. He wants the reward on his head to use a stake after prison. Lily knows him from years ago when he saved her from a burning building. Troop is suspicious of the whole situation and hires drunk Cactus Gates to fill in as deputy. Gates notices a gunman in town and learns he is asking what cell Hudson is in. The company offering the reward refuses to pay but asks Hudson to turn in his criminal friends for a share of the reward but Hudson refuses. while fighting with the executive, Hudson is moved to the other cell. Hudson uses a derringer he smuggled in to kill the gunman when he shoots through the window at Troop who is sleeping in Hudson's old cell. Troop tells the wounded Hudson he will have a job in Laramie when he leaves prison. Written by Anonymous
