Storyline

Joe Wyatt arrives in Laramie and runs into Lily. They grew up together in St. Louis. He makes drawings of the layout of the bank and other buildings in his hotel room. He is a gambler but his luck that night at the Birdcage is not good. He returns later to join Dan, Johnny, and Lily who asks him to tell their fortune with the Tarot deck he always carries. He finally agrees to tell the fortune of the group as a whole. It says someone will receive money, take a trip, sit with a pot of gold, and finally someone will die. Three men arrive to steal a payroll after killing the rancher picking it up. Joe provides them with a drawing of the Marshal's office where the gold is stored and the details about it in return for his $2,000 markers. Troop is guarding it all night so they plan to kill him. Joe feels guilty so he interrupts the robbery but is fatally wounded doing so. Written by Anonymous
