Storyline

One of three men involved in a Denver robbery is shot so they kidnap Dr. Sam Burbage to operate on him. He succeeds in saving the wounded man but it is clear they intend to kill him so he escapes when his escort lets his guard down. He finds his way to Laramie and takes a job as swamper after shaving his beard, removing his glasses, and adopting a limp. Troop finds him out of place due to his demeanor and tender hands. When a small boy is hit by a runaway wagon, Sam steps in to save the boy as the doctor is out of town. The three outlaws arrive in Laramie searching for the doctor. When the town doctor falls ill, the residents ask Sam to help allowing the outlaws to see through his changed appearance. They trail Sam, Johnny, and Troop to the town doctor where Sam operates while Troop and Johnny fight the outlaws. Written by Anonymous
