Troop is taking Barron Shaw to Green River for trial. The Laramie townspeople are upset with the change of venue as he murdered the judge's relative and robbed the bank. On the stage Troop has a deputy and a woman for company. At a water stop the deputy is shot and killed. At the next stop for new horses, the station master and replacement horses are gone. One of the stage drivers is wounded and the group is forced to spend the night at the station. Unknown to Troop the woman was hired to provide Shaw a gun but she did not plan on the killings. In the morning Shaw's gang tries to free him and the woman has a change of heart as Troop and the wounded stage drivers battle the Shaw gang. At Green River the woman is able to start a new life as Troop suggested. Written by Anonymous
