WOW! He was an awesome baddie! Well okay, in this episode, he may not have been a baddie, but he was tough. He has such big everything! His mouth, his eyes, his hands...I can't help but to be amazed and wonder if he could kill a person with his bare hands...

This was another interesting episode, but I can't help but to wonder...when a deputy back then took the knife from a dead man, would he really pay attention to how the knife landed? Maybe Sam Buckhart would. When he asked the deputy the question, I was expecting the deputy to actually answer it. I was pleased when the deputy answered honestly that he simply wasn't sure!

I also found it interesting that this room full of white men would allow Sam Buckhart to pull such an apache trial to see who's right and who's wrong. The tongue thing is an interesting concept, and I know that a lot of the "strange" Indian customs really did have some sort of logic to them. I found it interesting...I think Elijah was mighty brave to have agreed to that. I'm not sure I would have!

Peter Whitney's character alone makes this an excellent episode!
