Peter Whitney, John Milford, and Dabbs Greer all did excellent work on
The Rifleman, so I was thrilled when I saw them all together in this
episode! They did an excellent job. Of course Peter plays a wonderful
tough guy with his size.
Boy but Truck sure did give me the creeps! He must have been loco or something. I'm guessing that if he were alive today, they would declare him incompetent of standing trial and would put him in a mental institution, diagnosing him with some sort of mental illness or something.
The ending did surprise me a bit. I'm guessing Sam figured these men would make sure justice came to the girl when he saw the look of surprise and hate in their eyes. He probably figured the man wasn't worth dying for.
