Quotes

Tess: I heard what you told Martha. I'm a pretty good nurse too. Can I help?
Deputy U.S. Marshal Sam Buckhart: Yes you can. By going back to sleep. You know, that's the only way pretty little girls are going to grow up to be beautiful big girls.
Tess: Aw, shucks! Nobody ever lets me be much help around here.
Deputy U.S. Marshal Sam Buckhart: Tess... Just knowing that you're here, being able to see you every day when I'm not out of town is all the help I need.

John Anderson

John Anderson was great in this episode. He's one of my favorite character actors. He plays the bad guy so well! Actually, Anderson played a very similar role in the first season of The Rifleman. He may have actually done both roles around the same time.

I love when the put Civil War twists into these shows. From the way the television shows talk, Andersonville was the worst prison camp.

And again, I must declare that Tess is so cute! It was nice seeing this tender side of Sam. After all she'd been through, Tess needed someone to love her and care for her. But it seems her attitude took a 180 - from rough to sweet and caring...it was a bit too fast in my opinion...

Anyways, another good episode. You can't go wrong with John Anderson.
