Body parts chop shop
14 April 2015 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

This particular episode starts out with the SVU squad investigating a suspected necrophiliac as a women's body parts are found. This one turns into a hunt for human body parts chop shop. Involved in it is Marlee Matlin making a return appearance as Amy Solway who when last in an SVU story was doing assisted suicides.

Now Matlin is helping Dr. John Ottavino find and harvest stolen bodies for their organs. She's in need of a kidney transplant.

Richard Belzer is front and center in this story and his conflict with Christopher Meloni and ADA Diane Neal is what drives this plot.

The issue isn't dealt with well because it's impossible to deal with at all. Believe me there are no perpetrators here, just victims.
