Quotes

Officer Austin Bates: [about Sergeant Smythe] Bitch gets on the stand, the entire world finds out she's a rat. We go down for rape, her career goes down with us. You guys got it figured out, don't you? Why do you think she dropped the rape complaint? Because she's a rat without a spine.
Elliot Stabler: You rape a fellow cop. Look at you, tough guy. You're a real man, aren't you?
Officer Austin Bates: Get out of my face!
Elliot Stabler: Couldn't even face a woman when he was raping her, huh? You had to take her from behind in the dark. Yeah, make you feel like a real man...

The Blue Wall of Silence goes up
24 June 2014 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

When SVU answers a call about a woman raped in a warehouse, Mariska Hargitay gets the surprise of her life. The victim is Khandi Alexander who was her training officer back in the day.

But Alexander isn't talking and when Internal Affairs gets involved the blue wall of silence goes up. Between her own partner not cooperating and Internal Affairs doing their level best to shut down the investigation the SVU squad has a problem. Biggest problem is for Dann Florek who is getting pressured from both sides.

Kudos for this episode go to Khandi Alexander as the close mouthed victim and James Hanlon who is some piece of work as a crooked cop. Hanlon will make your skin crawl.

This is not one to miss.
