Storyline

Investing the brutal rape and murder of an undercover federal agent and forced to use discretion in order to protect the identities of those agents in the field, the detectives arrest a suspect highly connected with a Colombian drug cartel. As the case proceeds towards trial, Cabot is faced with death threats on herself and her family along with pressure to yield the case to federal authorities.

One of the best SVUs ever

This was without a doubt (at least in my opinion) one of the best SVU episodes ever. The only one that comes close is "Manhunt." When an Hispanic woman dressed only in a fur coat is found murdered in an alley, Benson and Stabler are dispatched to the scene. Through the course of their investigation, they are caught up in much more than a hooker murder. A murdered cop, a top secret and dangerous DEA investigation, and a lethal drug cartel make this a nail biting episode. Sad ending as one of the regular cast members comes to a fatal demise. I won't give away the twist, but make sure you watch to the very end. If you're an SVU fan, it will leave you with tears in your eyes and a smile on your face.
