Just Venomous Bile
14 December 2011 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

Isaih Whitlock has done two outstanding Law And Order episodes and in parts radically different as perpetrators. In a previous episode he played a serial killing religious fanatic. In this episode he plays a grieving stepfather who's stepson is killed by undercover police officers. In like manner he arranges for their deaths via a website where he posts names and pictures of police he has come to know as undercover.

In this episode however Sam Waterston and Elizabeth Rohm both jump the gun prematurely in a haste to bring a cop killer to justice. They have the shooters dead bang cold and the links to Whitlock are tenuous to say the least. The judge properly dismisses their first try for an indictment.

Whitlock is an attorney and he proves the adage about an attorney defending himself having a fool for a client. In the end he has nothing but his own bitterness and venomous bile to fall back on.
