Trivia:
This episode revisits the events of the "Law & Order: Indifference (#1.9)" (1990), which focuses on the murder trial of Dr. and Mrs. Lowenstein, both of which are reprized 14 years later. It is interesting to note that twice in this episode there are references to Jacob Lowenstein having previously made a deal for manslaughter. However, in ‘Indifference’ a jury found him guilty of second degree murder. more
Goofs:
Continuity: The episode "Fixed" features a cameo appearance by Dann Florek as Captain Donald Cragen, however the opening credits mistakenly identify Cragen as a Lieutenant. (Cragen is, and always has been, a Captain in his entire run on the show). Subsequent rebroadcasts of this episode featured a fixed version of the credits where Cragen is correctly identified as a Captain. more

Det. Joe Fontana: I love a public service homicide, don't you?
