Storyline

An acquaintance and stockbroker of cosmetics mogul Jackie Scott - and who had a romantic relationship with her - is found murdered. The investigation reveals that Scott's sale of stock benefited from insider trading, so when Briscoe and Green make her a prime suspect and apply the heat, it's no surprise when she solicits help from an old friend - DA Arthur Branch. But Jackie doesn't bank on Arthur turning the tables on her. Written by Anonymous

Quotes

Jackie Scott: [half to herself] Pick a lane.
D.A. Arthur Branch: [turns around] Hmm?
Jackie Scott: The old man used to say to me, "Jacks...life is like a street. Like a dangerous New York City street. You pick a lane. And don't you let *anybody* cut you off." You can't cut me off, Arthur. I won't let you.
D.A. Arthur Branch: I don't have to.
