I feel like it's a Fabian sequel except the girls try to sabotage their favorite singer (different guy) not fangirl. He treated them poorly, so they plot revenge with the tabloids.

A famous singer named Johnny Velvet is at Bardwells for an appearance and uses the gift wrapping area to exit the place. Laverne & Shirley show no restraint and proceed to get all up in his face demanding autographs. Naturally, the singer is annoyed and possibly afraid of the harassment and pushes them away and leaves.
Laverne's camera gets accidentally knocked to the floor and his manager pays her $50 to fix it. She's lucky she even got that. Afterwards, both girls are so angry that they want to get revenge against him.
This is something normal people would forget about 5 minutes later and go on with their lives. But the girls seek out where he's performing and somehow manage to just walk into his dressing room to try and get pictures for a gossip paper to ruin his reputation.
It's nice to see the girls acting together again, but leaves a bad taste seeing them act so spiteful and vindictive to a celebrity just because he didn't have time to cater to them. Neither has ever been shown to be that nasty before.
They do balk when the sleazy rag editor wants to take things too far, but it doesn't negate how they acted prior to that.
