Where is my shilling
28 March 2017 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Compo is short of cash and racking his brains as to how to come up with funds. While watching a some blokes play pool in the pub he exclaims 'Hemingway,' unfortunately for the lads the pool table cloth gets split and Compo is carried out of the pub.

Hemingway was a school bully who used to steal a shilling from Compo and Clegg. Foggy had his sweets stolen and got a beating. That was before he became trained killer.

So Compo tries to track down this Hemingway but keeps finding the wrong one such as a Gentleman's tailor. Once they find the the right one it seems he is still rough around the edges.

A nicely amusing episode although surely it would be Compo being tracked down for owing people money.
